Rules

1. The race director is the boss. What he says is the law if you don’t like it tough.

2.All riders must sign a waiver.

3.Any bike eligible to compete must be in good working order with functioning brakes. Yes you can race your precious cyclocross bike.

4..All riders must have a helmet.

5.Will have a womens class if and only when at least two female participants contact race director at least 72 hours prior to race that they will be coming. (this is to give me time enough to get prizes ready) If not race with the guys. This rule can change if we get a steady stream of lady riders.

6.All laps are clockwise.

7.All riders will draw a playing card at time of sign up. The hand you collect will be your tie breaker at end of series.

8.If your caught cutting the course your are disqualified for the entire series.

9. Have fun.

10. One lap fastest time wins.

11. Start position is determined how you sign up. You sign up first you go first you sign up last you go last. Race director does reserve the right to juggle the start positions due to exceptional problems. Such as two riders sharing the same bike or if you need to get out early to go to church or a kids ball game.

12. Race director and the NOMAMBO board reserve the right to change any rules at any time.

Awards

First place
Could be a cookie, a brick or a pound of bacon to be determined by race director.

Dead Last.
Could be a rice cake, energy drink or the Jane Fonda work out video. It goes to the person who at least tries to race and finishes last.

Pink Jersey
Awarded to the first guy behind the first place lady or the first guy behind Eric.

Sand Bagger Award
Awarded to the biggest sand bagger. Its a bag of first rate sand and a good mocking from the race director.
